Monica Valencia Inducted Into Wall of Scholars | Skull & Dagger Society

"The Skull and Dagger Society, USC’s oldest honor society, created the Wall of Scholars in 1995. Each spring, the names of students who have been awarded a national or international scholarship, or who have earned certain USC academic accolades, are etched on glass panels in the library’s first-floor reading room," according to the University of Southern California webisite.

Monica Valencia was inducted into the Wall of Scholars for her leadership, scholarship and numerous achievements during her two years at USC. One of the awards that propelled this honor was the Andrew W. Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship that she received in 2012. She is pictured here with USC President, C. L. Max Nikias, where he congratulated her for her outstanding achievements and for her military service.
